Our relationship with the Cretan avocado began in early 2016 when through his postgraduate thesis at the Athens University of Economics and Business the then student and current founder of the company Ioannis Karvelas studied the commercial prospects of the fruit and developed his own business plan. This relationship soon tued into a passion and the thesis was put into practice.
Today the company grows organic avocados, mangoes, passion fruit and dragon fruit in the most fertile place of Europe, in the plain of Messara in Heraklion, Crete next to the Libyan Sea. The fruits are collected, packaged and distributed directly to the consumer by us, a fact that allows us to ensure their standardization and excellent quality. Finally, we offer a wide range of herbal cosmetics made with organic avocado oil and produced by Lappa Avocado in Rethymno, Crete.
